The new song “Braunschweig” is currently being composed and recorded at the Ferdisrock Studio.
Braunschweig, located in the north of Germany, in the state of Lower Saxony, is the city where I have lived since 2018.
A city as beautiful as this:
“Braunschweig” is a progressive song in which I want to show the different feelings that I have had and continue to have during my stay in this great city. It starts off strong, reflecting the anger one feels when one feels out of place, not understanding the language, the culture, what they tell you…not being able to express oneself. That generates a frustration that I express in the initial part with progressive metal with high beats.
…But not everything is frustration and anger. As the theme grows, there is a change to something much more melodic and with a positive tone.
Once you settle in Braunschweig, you are able to turn the tables. Suddenly not everything is being out of the comfort zone. You begin to have good times, new friends, a certain understanding of the language, the sensations turn good when you least expect it.
